Facebook is like your kid that never moves out and then eventually…..takes your house. Cnet.com is reporting that Facebook is working on a commenting project, which will widen its reach further into website integration. Essentially, Facebook wants to be your commenting system, not just on their site but on any website you visit. Caroline McCarthy writes:
The new commenting product is a significantly deeper expansion of this, according to sources. Facebook will be able to power the entire commenting system–handling the log-in and publishing, cross-promoting comments on individuals’ Facebook walls, and possibly even promoting them as well on media outlets’ own “fan” pages. Undoubtedly, the Facebook “like” button will be deeply integrated as well.
Well worth the read if you want a peek into the future that involves Facebook doing everything for you, from waking you up in the morning to flushing the toilet to rubbing your back after a hard day at work (in which you spent most of the time on Facebook). NEXT!!
