New images just released by the Institute for Exploration, Center for Archaeological Oceanography/University of Rhode Island/NOAA Office of Ocean Exploration of the Titanic, reveal in full color the human side of the tragedy – 100 years ago this month. Often times, it is the Titanic itself, that gets the majority of the attention but these new images show that the great ship is now essentially a mass graveyard. While the actual human remains have succumbed to the creatures of the deep, their clothes, jewelry and personal belongings hint at a life once lived.
