This is a mock ad campaign for the US Department of Education. Our demographic was young adults, specifically graduating high school seniors – Our goal was to build an ad campaign encouraging them to enroll in higher education or university. We wanted to use modern/living public figures with integrity, who were known for their skill/craft and respected outside their public status.
This was a traditional marketing campaign which would be implemented though highway billboard signs, thus we wanted large vibrant imagery mixed with a simple message. We realized that our “impact time” was limited, thus our emphasis on typography + color + short language. Please click on each image for a larger version and we hope you enjoy.

While America and the United Kingdom paid a heavy price (in terms of air pollution) during the industrial revolution (and still due to some point) it’s now China’s massive economic engine that is slowly killing the populous in Beijing and China’s other mega cities. Since 1991, Christian Stoll has been working as a freelance photographer, now shuttling between the two worlds of New York city and Düsseldorf, Germany. In past years Stoll’s photography has been a major influence on the corporate image of global companies like General Electrics, IBM and Microsoft. Without being compelled to show greatness, he nonetheless succeeds in making greatness visible with his architectural settings and interior shots. In his still life photographs even the most banal objects undergo a metamorphosis, which may be the result of intensive digital processing, which transforms them into objects of desire.
The Golden Gate Bridge has been connecting marin and the north bay to San Francisco for 75 years – build with determination, engineering prowess and state of the art (for the time) building techniques. It has withstood earthquakes, politics and the pacific – here is to another 75 years!
