Making the Matrix cost millions of dollars and several years but in a genre that is hard to stand out in (sci-fi), it’s in a league of its own – the visuals and storyline are uniquely fresh, especially the infamous ”Lobby Scene.” So, one would think that it would be equally difficult to re-make that scene and still have it equally, if not more, spectacular….enter Matt Mulholland and his A Cappella version….
So, Sony pictures has released the full length trailer to the Total Recall remake – still looks bad. We already talked about how we feel about Sony remaking this Sci-Fi classic but die-hard Hollywood supporters hold true that this new version might hold truer to the original book, thus making it better… For those not familiar with the storyline:
Douglas Quaid is haunted by a recurring dream about a journey to Mars. He hopes to find out more about this dream and buys a holiday at Rekall Inc. where they sell implanted memories. But something goes wrong with the memory implantation and he remembers being a secret agent fighting against the evil Mars administrator Cohaagen. Now the story really begins and it’s a rollercoaster ride until the massive end of the movie…
So there you have it. The remake comes out August 3rd but if you still aren’t convinced that Hollywood is taking less risks and simply making remakes because they’re safer bets - might want to check out this article.

Over the last couple of days, there has been serious chatter about “NoMacheteJuggling’s” recent post about how the Star Wars saga should be watched, from Reddit to Frame Rate – the web has been abuzz…..and rightly so. Before we get into NoMacheteJuggling’s argument, let it be said that Episode I, in my opinion, should not be watched or it should be watch as a stand alone movie months after watching the other 5 films. For me, Episode 1 is a catastrophe!
Viewing Order: Let’s start at the beginning. When showing the Star Wars saga to a friend (that hasn’t already seen it) there is an obvious major choice to consider: Do they see it from Episode I through VI (newest movies first and then the old ones) or do they see it episodes IV, V, VI and then I, II and III? Release Order vs. Episode Order?
