So, Sony pictures has released the full length trailer to the Total Recall remake – still looks bad. We already talked about how we feel about Sony remaking this Sci-Fi classic but die-hard Hollywood supporters hold true that this new version might hold truer to the original book, thus making it better… For those not familiar with the storyline:
Douglas Quaid is haunted by a recurring dream about a journey to Mars. He hopes to find out more about this dream and buys a holiday at Rekall Inc. where they sell implanted memories. But something goes wrong with the memory implantation and he remembers being a secret agent fighting against the evil Mars administrator Cohaagen. Now the story really begins and it’s a rollercoaster ride until the massive end of the movie…
So there you have it. The remake comes out August 3rd but if you still aren’t convinced that Hollywood is taking less risks and simply making remakes because they’re safer bets - might want to check out this article.

We didn’t re-invent fire nor the wheel, so why would someone even consider re-inventing one of the best Sci-Fi movies of all time? Is it the money? Someone, please hand the people in charge of making this movie tons of cash – just don’t try to re-invent my childhood….it’s the only memory I really know to be real. I wish I had three hands, to slap the people responsible for making this movie!
